Technical Skills
• Project Co-ordination and Implementation of Environmental Assessment projects which include Initial Environmental Examination [IEE], assessment of project sites & site selection vis-a-vis the siting guidelines laid down by Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), New Delhi.
• Having commendable knowledge in Equator Principles [July 2006] & IFC’s performance standards, ADB Safeguard Policy Statement [June 2009], JBIC guidelines and other international guidelines, compliance audits in line with international environmental standards/ guidelines of financial institutions.
• Thorough acquaintance with the national (Indian) environmental policies and other environmental standards & guidelines, EIA notifications, 2006, guidelines and legislation related to Air Pollution, Water Pollution, Noise Pollution, Solid Waste (Haz. & non-Haz.) Management, Soil Conservation, Land Use, etc.
• Designing the EIA study protocol including baseline environmental status survey based on project specific environmental issues and addressing the same in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
• Providing technical guidance to the executing team in preparation of EIA/EMP reports.
